The Minister of Supply appreciates the important role of the National Alliance in the development process witnessed by the country
The Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Dr. Sherif Farouk, praised the important role of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work in the development process witnessed by the country, stressing that no achievement will be made without a real partnership with all concerned parties.
This came during the meeting of the Minister of Supply, today, Tuesday, with the head of the technical secretariat of the National Alliance, Ambassador Nabila Makram, at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital; to discuss ways of bilateral cooperation in the field of community work and serving citizens and families most in need of care, in addition to creating new mechanisms to benefit from the capabilities of the ministry and the alliance in achieving community development goals. Farouk explained the great confidence and support that the political leadership gives to the file of cooperation with the Egyptian civil society and civil society institutions and the National Alliance.
The two sides discussed a number of joint cooperation files, and agreed on the participation of the National Alliance in the main (Ahla Madaris) exhibition, in addition to allocating a site for the Alliance within all permanent commodity exhibitions in all governorates.
They also agreed to cooperate in the field of commodity and food support and the provision of basic commodities, meat and frozen foods by the Ministry and its affiliated companies for the benefit of the Alliance, in addition to purchasing coupons offered by the Ministry and distributing them to those entitled to them.
During the meeting, the Minister of Supply and the Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Alliance discussed cooperation in the field of integration in databases in order for the Alliance to provide more additional support to the citizen, and they also discussed allocating places for the Alliance in supply outlets and consumer complexes; To display the products of productive families and handicrafts.
For her part, Ambassador Nabila Makram congratulated Dr. Sherif Farouk on the confidence of the political leadership and his assumption of the Supply Ministry portfolio, wishing him continued success and good luck during the coming period, especially in light of the important role played by the Ministry
