Al-Azhar World Center for Electronic Fatwa celebrates the birth of the Master of Mankind and the Seal of the Days, our Master Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, throughout the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal
The Al-Azhar World Center for Electronic Fatwa is preparing to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of our Master and Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and to revive this fragrant occasion dear to the heart of every Muslim man and woman with a variety of advocacy and awareness activities.
Dr. Osama Al-Hadidi, Director of the Center, said: One of the aspects of the celebration that is being celebrated is the launch of an electronic campaign through the center’s official pages on social media, under the title: “#And_A_Bright_Lamp”, which reminds us of his biography, peace and blessings be upon him, and shows his high status, position, and noble characteristics and virtues, peace and blessings be upon him. A group of short videos will also be launched about the morals of the Chosen One, peace and blessings be upon him, and his tolerant teachings. Al-Hadidi added that a live broadcast will be launched to celebrate the birth of our Master, the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, from within the Al-Azhar World Center for Electronic Fatwa. In addition to publishing the Center’s booklet introducing our Master the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, “The Son of Guidance,” which deals with: his characteristics, virtues, status, guidance, and rights, and urges all Muslims to emulate him and follow his Sunnah, peace and blessings be upon him. In addition to the distinguished media participation of the Center’s members on many television channels, and on radio stations, and in cooperation with electronic newspaper websites, in Arabic and a number of foreign languages. As well as press participation with a number of articles that deal with the moral and ethical qualities of our Master the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him. ▪️Addressing a number of introductory topics about our Master the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, through the center’s live broadcast, and many websites in Arabic and foreign languages.
▪️Responding to fatwas received by the center through its electronic fatwa outlets on a number of issues, including:
▪️The legitimacy of celebrating the Prophet’s birthday, how to celebrate it, and responding to those who forbid celebrating his birthday, peace and blessings be upon him.
▪️Monitoring extremist fatwas about celebrating the Prophet’s birthday, refuting them, and responding to them through the religious content monitoring section in the center’s media outlets.
▪️The center receives calls and inquiries from the public through daily phone calls on phone number: 19906, via private Facebook messages, and via the center’s application to receive fatwas.
Dr. Osama Al-Hadidi concluded his speech by saying that The Women’s Fatwas Department will participate with distinguished efforts in electronic video campaigns, media programs, and newspaper articles.
