Dr. Al-Saeed Ghoneim, First Deputy Chairman of the Conference Party, denounced the statements of the Israeli Prime Minister, through which he tried to drag Egypt’s name into distracting the attention of Israeli public opinion, stressing that such statements are completely unacceptable, considering them statements intended to distract world public opinion from the ongoing war of extermination in the Gaza Strip.
He stressed that the statements also aim to obstruct reaching a deal for a ceasefire and the exchange of hostages and detainees, and to obstruct the mediation efforts undertaken by Egypt, Qatar and the United States, at a time when the Egyptian state, leadership and people, confirm their rejection of all allegations being addressed by Israeli officials in this regard, and that the Prime Minister fears being tried for the failures of October 7 and other corruption cases.
"Ghanem" pointed out that Egypt rejects his recent statements, and that they fuel tension and threaten to expand the scope of war in the region, and stressed the continuation of its historic role in leading the peace process in the region, which leads to maintaining regional peace and security and achieving stability for all peoples of the region, while at the same time bearing the consequences of issuing such statements that increase the crisis of the situation.
