Bundall, Gold Coast: Astonishing video as road rage incident breaks out in middle of busy intersection before other motorists try and intervene in Queensland

Astonishing footage has emerged of a wild road rage brawl that brought peak hour traffic to a standstill on a busy road.

Two drivers traded blows in the middle of the road near the corner of Bundall Road and Slatyer Avenue at Bundall on the Gold Coast, shortly before 8am on Thursday.

The footage filmed by another motorist showed a man wearing a yellow hi-vis shirt getting out of a four-wheel drive.

Seconds later, the driver of a sedan parked next to the four-wheel drive emerged and an altercation ensued.

The man wearing hi-vis briefly lost his balance as the two men began to grapple.

At one point, the man in the hi-vis held the other man up against the four-wheel drive as several other drivers attempted to intervene.

The men were eventually separated from one another.

‘Omg grow up,’ one wrote.

Another added: ‘Stupid. Irresponsible. Dangerous to all on the road including themselves.’
