Chief of Staff meets Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces of Oman

 

Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, met with Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Khamis bin Abdullah Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces of Oman, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting Egypt. An official reception ceremony was held for him at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense, and the military bands played the national anthems of both countries. The meeting addressed a number of topics of common interest and ways to support military cooperation relations between the armed forces of the two brotherly countries in many fields. The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces affirmed his pride in the solid relations between the Egyptian and Omani armed forces, pointing out the keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces to strengthen the bonds of cooperation in various military fields.

 

 

 

 

Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa returns to the homeland after the end of his official visit to “Qatar”

 

Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and his accompanying delegation returned to the homeland after the end of his official visit to the State of Qatar. During the visit, the Lieutenant General met with Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs in the State of Qatar. The meeting discussed a number of topics of common interest, which resulted in a consensus on the developments in the situation and the challenges facing national security in the region and the importance of coordinating efforts and joint work to confront these challenges.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa was given an official reception ceremony, followed by a meeting with Lieutenant General Pilot Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabet, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, on the sidelines of the second meeting of the Egyptian-Qatari Military Committee to enhance military cooperation between the two countries. The meeting praised the efforts of the members of the joint military committee between the two sides and the results it reached in various military fields, as well as discussing ways to enhance aspects of military cooperation in the fields of Training, transfer and exchange of expertise between the Egyptian and Qatari armed forces.

 

 

 

 

.. And inspects the training stages at the Non-Commissioned Officers Teachers Institute

 

 Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, inspected the educational and training process at the Non-Commissioned Officers Teachers Institute, which comes within the framework of the keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces to periodically follow up on the systems of scientific and military preparation and qualification for the men of the Armed Forces.

The tour began by passing by a number of sports activities and exercises, which are implemented on a daily basis and contribute to maintaining the highest levels of physical fitness for students, followed by inspecting a number of developed training fields and various training activities related to the physical rehabilitation of students, which are implemented according to the latest advanced preparation and qualification systems. The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces also met with faculty members and students of the Institute and shared breakfast with them. He stressed the keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces to provide all scientific and training capabilities aimed at preparing and qualifying a combatant with high physical and mental capabilities, capable of keeping pace with scientific and technological development in various military fields. The Popular and Military Defense Forces sign a cooperation protocol with the “Ministry of Education”

 

Within the framework of the Armed Forces’ keenness to exchange scientific and practical experiences, and develop the spirit of loyalty and belonging among students from various educational stages, the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces signed a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, with the aim of implementing the military foundation for 100 technical education schools starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, and developing the educational system through advanced scientific and training programs, in addition to harnessing all capabilities to achieve the maximum scientific benefit for both sides.

 

The protocol ceremony began with a speech by Major General A.H. Osama Abdel Hamid Daoud, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, stressed the continuous support of the General Command of the Armed Forces to enhance aspects of cooperation and deepen the spirit of loyalty and belonging among the sons of the homeland, praising the continuous coordination and joint cooperation programs that rely on the latest modern systems with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.
