Petroleum Air Services Company extends accreditation "Leonardo" As a service center in Egypt
Major General Ihab Abdel Maqsoud, Chairman and Managing Director of Petroleum Air Services Company, and Vittorio Della Bella, Vice President of Customer Support and Global Training Services, on behalf of Leonardo, signed an agreement to extend Leonardo’s accreditation as an Authorized Service Center in the Arab Republic of Egypt to provide technical inspection and maintenance services for AW139 helicopters, whether owned by the company or by others, while raising the center’s efficiency and adopting new technical tasks that will place it in a distinguished position in the region to provide these services, on the sidelines of the Egypt International Air Show.
It is worth noting that the center’s technical capabilities have been raised to the highest category after the company carried out work that includes maintenance and technical inspections during the past year for a group of helicopters owned by Saudi Aramco and the Royal Jordanian Air Force efficiently and in record time.
The advantages of this agreement include raising the professional efficiency of the company’s engineers through periodic and continuous training at the center or abroad and providing it with the tools and equipment necessary for new tasks, while enjoying financial benefits and facilities when purchasing spare parts and tools The required equipment, in addition to adopting additional maintenance work within the company’s approved technical capabilities, leads to the company relying on its qualified employees for these tasks, providing new job opportunities, saving foreign currency that was spent abroad to carry out these works, as well as saving time, and the direct impact of all of this on the revenues achieved and the company’s results.
