Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, received today a report on the progress of work in the technology centers in all governorates of the Republic to follow up on developments in the situation in the file of reconciliation on building violations and the procedures being taken to facilitate citizens to push work on the reconciliation file in accordance with the new law issued No. 187 of 2023 and its executive regulations.
Dr. Manal Awad explained that directives were issued to the governorates with a number of steps and procedures to facilitate and make it easier for citizens wishing to reconcile building violations, including canceling the response of the state authorities from the data certificate, as the administrative authority will undertake to obtain approvals and coordinate with the state authorities instead of the citizen. The Minister of Local Development confirmed that citizens who applied for reconciliation according to the old Law No. 17 of 2019 and did not complete the documents and the remaining procedures for reconciliation were given a final opportunity to complete the papers and documents within no more than 30 days from the date of their notification.
