Network 10 and Paramount+ have just unveiled their sick list of TV shows coming in 2025 at their annual Upfronts — AKA the fancy schmancy media event where networks reveal what they’ve got coming.
The list includes returning and brand spanking new shows that you can expect so see in the new year (how the fresh heck is 2024 almost over? Time really do be moving at a rapid rate!).

One of the most exciting pieces of news is that Big Brother is returning home to Channel 10 — the OG network that housed the iconic reality series.
Thank god they’ve rescued the show from the evil clutches of Channel 7 which absolutely butchered the once-great show.
According to 10’s press release, “audiences can expect the authentic, OG show you fell in love with all those years ago, including live nominations, live evictions, a brand-new home, engaging housemates and non-stop hijinks.”
Praise the lord for that! If you ask me, switching the series to a pre-recorded format is what killed it in the end. Looking forward to this return to form!

The series will be hosted by Mel Tracina, the resident cultural correspondent on The Cheap Seats. Superb choice!
Meanwhile, king Sam Pang is getting his own series and it sounds pretty damn intriguing!
Daniel Monaghan, SVP Content and Programming, Paramount Australia said: “Sam Pang has been part of the 10 family for over a decade and we’re delighted to have commissioned his brand-new show for 2025.
“Sam’s quick wit has kept Aussies laughing for years, and we know his fresh new program will give audiences exactly what they want.
“We are currently in the final stages of development, and we can’t wait to share it with viewers in the new year.”
Elsewhere, hit British sitcom Ghosts is copping an Aussie rendition called Ghosts Australia.
The hilarious eight-part series will be set in a haunted country house and feature new ghosts with a distinctly Aussie twist.
Meanwhile your fave cheeky lads The Inspired Unemployed are taking part in a brand-new comedy travel series: The List.
The comedy travel show follows the boyz Jack and Matt (AKA Falcon) as they jet-set around the globe, including to lush locations like Japan, South Africa, Germany, Finland, Malaysia and India. Except lots of laughs and travel porn!
As for Survivor, there’s two epic seasons coming in 2025: one titled Survivor: Australia v The World and the other titled Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn II. Returning Survivor stars include George, Shonee and Kirby facing off against superstar players from Survivor South Africa, Norway, New Zealand, and of course the U.S. Can’t bloody wait for this!
As for epic cooking series MasterChef, another MasterChef All-Stars is coming, this time called MasterChef Australia: Back To Win feat. past fan faves who missed out on the coveted trophy during their stint on the show. Everyone loves a comeback story, don’t they?
As for Paramount+, check out your returning faves South Park, Offspring, Australia’s Next Top Model, Prisoner, Good Chef Bad Chef, MasterChef, and Survivor.
Sounds like a pretty sweet list to me! Bring onnnnn 2025.
