The Zakat and Charity House train reaches 3 governorates to distribute school bags and stationery to orphan students
“Zakat and Alms House” announced, under the supervision of His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the launch of the “Zakat and Alms House” campaign train under the slogan “To School”; in preparation for the start of the new academic year 2024/2025 AD.
“Zakat and Alms House” confirmed in a statement today, Monday, September 16, 2024 AD, that the school supplies distributed to orphaned students who are unable to afford them in the governorates of Menoufia, Damietta and Dakahlia include: a school bag, stationery, shoes and a coat, through lists prepared in advance in primary, middle, secondary, education and Azhari schools; within the framework of the “To School” campaign launched by “Zakat and Alms House” For the second year in a row.
The statement explained that the “To School” campaign to provide school supplies for orphan students falls within the “Mercy” program to sponsor orphans who are unable to afford it, and the “Education” program to extend a helping hand to students who find it difficult to bear the costs of education, and to help them complete their studies.
