The Administrative Prosecution celebrates its 70th anniversary today, Monday, corresponding to August 16.
The Administrative Prosecution said in a statement today, Monday, that since the Administrative Prosecution was established on this day seventy years ago, it has been carrying out its sacred mission for which it was established by having an independent entity that enjoys neutrality and integrity, which undertakes to combat financial and administrative corruption within state institutions, with another role that is no less important, which is to protect the public employee from corruption or the intransigence of his superiors, given that the Administrative Prosecution enjoys complete independence from the executive authority as a judicial body.
She added: "The Egyptian state stands with all its institutions and through an integrated vision towards raising the level of administrative performance and preserving public money, and enhancing integrity, transparency and accountability, in a way that ensures combating corruption and achieving sustainable development. The Egyptian state was able to complete the first and second strategies to combat corruption and began the third strategy 2023-2030, which formulated its vision within the framework of three basic determinants: “participation, inclusiveness, and transparency,” and through a general vision towards “a fair national environment that combats corruption.” The Administrative Prosecution explained that it pays great attention to the citizen’s constitutional right to complain, so work was done to create many mechanisms for receiving citizens’ complaints, taking into account their diversity and making them available to the largest segment of citizens regardless of cultural or educational level, starting with traditional means represented by personal attendance or services for sending complaints by regular mail, or reporting through the hotline 16117, passing through modern means represented by: – The official email for the complaints system shakwa@ap.gov.eg – The number designated on the “WhatsApp” application: 01050601888 – The number designated on the “Telegram” application: 1411 – The number designated for interactive short messages: 1411 – Through the application "Government Complaints and Performance Measurement".
The Administrative Prosecution confirmed that all these institutional efforts complement each other by enhancing the positive role of the citizen in reporting corruption incidents that he knows about. Today, Egypt has no place for the corrupt and no one is above the law. The Egyptian state as a whole stands with all its institutions and agencies in confronting corruption and corruptors; in implementation of the National Strategy for Combating Corruption in its various stages, the National Strategy for Sustainable Development, and Egypt’s Vision 2030, sponsored by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi – President of the Republic.
