Stop dilly-dallying and get to work, mates, ‘cos the first trailer for The Office Australia has just been unveiled and it looks like a hoot and a half!
Oh, you haven’t heard? Yep, Prime Video are producing an Aussie version of the iconic series which spawned a US and a UK version. The former starring Steve Carrell as its lead Michael Scott and the latter starring Ricky Gervais as boss man David Brent.
Who is in The Office Australia?
In the Aussie version, we have our first female boss of the Office universe, played by brilliant and hilarious comedian Felicity Ward.
Hannah Howard (Ward’s character) is the managing director of Flinley Craddick, Sydney, and she has all the awkward, dorky, goofy, charming loveableness of Michael Scott and then some.
She will be joined by Edith Poor as Lizze Moyle, receptionist, front desk executive and productivity manager, along with Steen Raskopoulos as sales rep Nick Fletcher, Shari Sebbens as Greta King (another sales rep) and Josh Thomson as Martin Katavake, head of human resources.

Then there’s Jonny Brugh as Lloyd Kneath, head of IT, Susan Ling Young as sales rep Tina Kwong, Raj Labade as intern Sebastian Roy, Lucy Schmidt as head of finance Deborah Leonard, Zoe Terakes as Stevie Jones, head of the warehouse, Pallavi Sharda as Alisha Khanna, regional director.
And finally, we’ve got Claude Jabbour as Greta’s BF Mason, Jason Perini as Johnny, warehouse staff, plus a heap of guest stars including Susie Youssef, Justin Rosniiak, Carlo Ritchie, Rick Donald, and Chris Bunton.
What a stacked roster of local comedic talent!
