The Heritage Research Conference at the National Library announces its recommendations

Within the framework of the activities of the Ministry of Culture and under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, the Egyptian Minister of Culture, the National Library and Archives, headed by Dr. Osama Talaat, held the fourth annual Heritage Investigation Conference over two days on "The Heritage of the City of Alexandria".

 

The conference witnessed a massive participation from the elite researchers in the field of heritage investigation.

 

 The conference concluded its activities yesterday evening announcing its recommendations, as the conference recommended digitizing the inscriptions and writings on buildings of various types and making them available to researchers and students, using artificial intelligence programs to read the obliterated words in the construction texts of buildings, and adopting an institution the idea of ​​publishing books that deal with the history of Alexandria. The conference also recommended conducting a study on the Egyptian character and its civilizational role through our Arab manuscript heritage.
