The body of a woman has been pulled from the water after being swept off rocks.
The woman was walking with two other people near a boardwalk at Cape Schanck off the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria on Monday.
The trio was swept into the water and only two were able to return to shore.
They were transported in a stable condition to Rosebud Hospital.
Emergency services were called and a woman was winched from the water at the bottom of the Cape Schanck boardwalk at 12.15pm.
The woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious and police will prepare a report for the coroner.
Cape Schanck is located on the southernmost tip of the Mornington Peninsula, south of Melbourne.
