Rebel Wilson and new wife Ramona Agruma look incredible in near-identical wedding dresses as they share a kiss in first images from ‘super romantic’ ceremony in Sardinia

Rebel Wilson looked every inch the blushing bride at her wedding to Ramona Agruma during a romantic ceremony in Sardinia.

The Bridesmaids star, 44, said ‘I do’ with Ramona, 40, at a destination wedding on the large Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea on Saturday.

A source previously told DailyMail.com that the couple planned to tie the knot in a ‘super romantic’ and intimate ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest.

Pictures from the big day showed the newlyweds looking incredible in near-identical strapless wedding dresses with voluminous skirts. 

Both brides opted for an off the shoulder design, but while Rebel opted for a plain finish and a thin belt around her waist, Ramona decided on beaded detailing and a plunging mesh neckline. 

Rebel wore her blonde locks in loose waves with a pretty floral hairpiece, while Ramona had her hair pinned up in a stylish chignon updo. 

It was the perfect fairytale location for the couple to exchange vows as they notably holidayed in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, just days after going Instagram official with their romance in 2022.

The Pitch Perfect actress and her partner were reportedly supposed to get married in a 2025 beach wedding but Rebel decided to move up the date.

The couple first met in 2021 and announced their engagement in February 2023. They also share a daughter Royce Lillian, who will turn two in November.

DailyMail.com exclusively shared the news of their nuptials last week, revealing that the couple were ‘thrilled’ to be tying the knot.

‘Rebel is really excited to be getting married to the love of her life, she is absolutely thrilled,’ a source shared ahead of the big day.

‘It is going to be stunning and super romantic. She is madly in love and can’t wait to be wed.’ 

‘Rebel doesn’t want to wait any longer, she is happy to marry this month because she is very much in love with Ramona and wants to be wed,’ the source added.

‘It will be a small ceremony with close friends and family, and also very elegant,’ the insider concluded. 

Previously speaking about her wedding plans, Rebel said she wanted to marry Ramona in a romantic beachside ceremony in 2025.

‘It’ll probably be next year. I feel like it’s gonna be a beach wedding but I just don’t know what beach,’ she shared during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning in May. 

Rebel came out as queer in June 2022 and debuted her relationship with Ramona in a sweet post at the same time, sharing a cosy selfie of them alongside some heartfelt words.

‘I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess,’ she gushed in an Instagram post at the time.

Just days later, Rebel shared a photograph of her and Ramona grinning and holding hands as they holidayed in Sardinia together.

The couple, who first met in 2021, went on to welcome their daughter Royce Lillian via surrogate in November 2022.

‘Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate,’ Rebel confirmed on Instagram at the time. 

Rebel and Ramona then announced their engagement in February 2023, with the actress popping the question in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland in California.

She shared photographs of Ramona flashing her diamond ring after Rebel popped the big question, with the overjoyed couple packing on the PDA with a sweet kiss.

Not long after their engagement, Rebel opened up about how overjoyed she was to have started a family with Ramona and detailed her fertility struggles. 

‘There’s a lot of things I’ve had to overcome in my life but obviously, the end of the story is a very happy story because I am engaged,’ she shared.

‘I have I struggled with fertility with something called PCOS [Polycystic ovary syndrome] and the end of the day my story is I have a beautiful baby daughter who just she melts my heart! She’s just started talking and she says like, ‘I love you’…

‘I went through five rounds of IVF to get her and it was worth every moment of that emotional rollercoaster and anyone who’s dealing with fertility stuff knows what I’m talking about.’

During an interview with People in March, Rebel then gushed about her experience of motherhood and revealed her daughter’s first and ‘favorite’ word. 

‘It shocks me how much she melts my heart,’ the star told the outlet. ‘And when says, “Mama?” Lately that’s her new favorite word.’

‘And that was her first word ever. It just, it melts you and you’re like, “Aw.” I thought I would be a strict parent, but apparently I’m the opposite.’ 

Rebel also discussed how her surrogate became pregnant with her ‘last viable embryo’ and called her daughter ‘a miracle’.

‘She opens her eyes, and she looks at us. We’re a family now,’ the actress continued, referencing to Agruma, and later added, ‘I’m a mother. It’s a bl**dy miracle.’

Rebel opened about her dating history before meeting Ramona in her memoir Rebel Rising, which was released earlier this year.

She described herself as a ‘late bloomer in love’ and told how she was ‘shy’ about going on dates, before challenging herself to date 50 men to gain more confidence. 

‘I was a late bloomer in love, so dating was something I felt very, very shy about going on dates. That’s why in 2019, when I was really single I realized I need to go on more dates,’ she shared in the release.

‘I did my own little experiment, when I dated like 50 men – not at the same time – but anyone who asked me out, I had to say yes. I got more and more comfortable dating. I did lose my virginity late compared to a lot of people – 35 years old.’ 

She also divulged that she didn’t lose her virginity until she was 35 and said she wanted to share the detail so other young people know that ‘not everybody has to lose their virginity as a teenager’.

She said: ‘People can wait till they’re ready or wait till they’re a bit more mature…

‘And I think that could be a positive message. You obviously don’t have to wait until you’re in your thirties like me, but you shouldn’t feel pressure as a young person’.

She went on to add that she believes if she was born 20 years later, she would have felt more open with exploring her sexuality at a younger age.

‘It’s absolutely incredible, if I had been born 20 years later, I probably would’ve explored my sexuality more. I just knew I was attracted to men, and that was the normal thing,’ the Senior Year actress candidly shared.

‘And so when I started opening myself up probably more after my father’s death and realizing, oh, even though I’d seen marriage as a terrible thing and waste of time, I started opening myself up to that.

‘And then only years later, meeting women and having feelings for a woman, and that, I just think it’s a sign of where society kind of was.’
