Minister Mohamed Salah stressed the strength of (Egyptian-Moroccan) relations, as diplomatic relations between the two brotherly countries officially began in 1957, and during more than 60 years, political relations between the two countries witnessed an important degree of understanding and coordination. The two countries also cooperated in establishing the Organization of the Islamic Conference (whose name later changed to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation), and recent years have embodied the will of the two countries and the leadership in Egypt and Morocco to strengthen bilateral relations between them in all fields, especially since each Egypt and Morocco are a country with great influence on the Arab, Islamic, regional and African levels.
During the meeting, the Minister of State for Military Production reviewed the manufacturing, technological, technical and human capabilities of military production companies and units, stressing that the Ministry is the basic pillar of military industrialization in Egypt. The surplus capacities of the companies and units affiliated with the Ministry are being exploited to support the national industry by participating in the implementation of many national and development projects in the country. In turn, the media advisor to the Minister of State for Military Production and the official spokesman for the Ministry, Mohamed Eid Bakr, stated that at the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that the Ministry of Military Production welcomed receiving technical delegations from the Moroccan side. To visit companies and units affiliated with the Ministry and precisely identify areas of cooperation to provide a role model for joint cooperation between African countries.
