Mumbai-based talent agency Tulsea and Ralph, the global creative agency headquartered in London, are poised to join forces in India. They are establishing a strategic partnership that brings together expertise across talent, brands and content.
Combined services will include strategic advisory across brand, audience outreach, social media and content, along with content production and ideation and innovative distribution strategies. The pairing “will open new opportunities for both current and future clients and partners” and operate with “a creative-led approach that puts audiences first,” the companies explain.
Founded over a decade ago, Tulsea has a talent and creative roster that includes actors, cinematographers, composers, editors, producers, costume designers, video game developers, chefs and hair & makeup artists. It has also played a role in elevating the Indian content ecosystem and supporting pathbreaking projects like “Lipstick Under My Burkha,” “Sacred Games,” “Delhi Crime,” “Paatal Lok,” “Mirzapur,” “Made in Heaven” and “Kohrra.” The company’s executive Datta Dave and screenwriter client Alanakrita Shrivastava were both speakers at APOS, high-powered media and entertainment summit in Indonesia last week.
Additionally, the company has a U.S.-based sports marketing joint venture which works with professional sports leagues and teams on their outreach to the South Asian community, and a brand advisory business.
Ralph positions itself as a creative agency that aims to move the needle and impact pop culture. Its clients in Los Angeles, New York, London and Tokyo include Apple TV+, Sony, Meta, RayBan, FX, Spotify, HBO, Lionsgate, Netflix, Freeform, Prime Video, Starz, Disney+, Amazon Music and Sky U.K.
The agency also recently launched quarterly consumer magazine, Ralph – Pop Culture for the Fun of It, which it calls “a joyous, informative and entertaining look at all things that make life worth living.”
“For the past 20 years, we have always been driven to evolve ourselves creatively and take on new challenges,” said Chris Hassell, CEO and founder of Ralph. “I can’t wait to work with Tulsea and offer a new level of original content creation, taking brands and their relationship with audiences to new heights”.
“Ralph’s team and work embody a spirit and culture of light-heartedness and top-notch creativity,” said Datta Dave, CEO, co-founder, Tulsea. “We represent the largest roster of high-quality writers and directors across India. I look forward to enabling our talent in more exciting ways to help brands through this partnership.”
