The bombs that Israel planted on radios eavesdropped on Hezbollah communications for 9 years before they exploded
Arab Defense Website October 6, 2024: Israeli bombs planted in pagers enabled Mossad to eavesdrop on Hezbollah communications for nearly a decade, enabling the targeting of Nasrallah and other senior leaders during the current bombing campaign in Lebanon.
Mossad began introducing explosive radios into Lebanon from 2015 onwards. The two-way radios contained large battery packs, hidden explosives, and a transmission system that gave Israel full access to Hezbollah’s communications.
The Israelis eavesdropped on Hezbollah for nine years while reserving the option of converting walkie-talkies into bombs in the future. It has not been revealed how many walkie-talkies were sold to Hezbollah or how the party was tricked into purchasing them.
