390 thousand beneficiaries of "Ramadan Consumer Bazaar" In Ajman

Ajman, 5 April / WAM / The Department of Economic Development in Ajman revealed that the number of consumers benefiting from the “Ramadan Consumer Bazaar” initiative has reached 390,000 consumers to date, with a growth rate exceeding 62.5% compared to the results achieved during the past year.

His Excellency Abdullah Ahmed Al Hamrani, Director General of the Department of Economic Development in Ajman, said that the statistics recorded during the second session of the “Ramadan Consumer Bazaar” campaign reflect the extent of the success of the initiative and its achievement of the desired goals, stressing that the percentage of consumer satisfaction with the initiative exceeded 94.2%, while the percentage of satisfaction with services reached Consumer protection 95.5%.

Al-Hamrani explained that the Department of Economic Development, in cooperation with its strategic partners, was keen to provide an exceptional experience for consumers by providing various platforms that offer products and main goods of high quality and discounted prices that suit the needs of consumers and contribute to enhancing their levels of happiness, noting that the financial value of the discounts exceeded 30.7 million. dirhams, as the number of products registered in the campaign reached 7,500 products at competitive prices and significant discounts that continue throughout the blessed Eid al-Fitr period.

It is noteworthy that the second session of the bazaar was organized by the Department of Economic Development in Ajman in partnership with 7 major sales outlets, including Kenz Hypermarket, the Ajman Markets Cooperative Society with all its branches, the Nesto Group, and Carrefour in the Al Jurf area, which provided more than 5,000 main products and commodities at reduced prices during the month. Holy Ramadan and Eid, without compromising the quality, standards and specifications of the products and goods included in the campaign, in order to reduce the burden on consumers during these occasions and seasons.

The Department organizes the bazaar to emphasize the preventive and precautionary supervisory role it adopts to preserve the rights of consumers and protect them on the one hand, and to enhance the Department’s social responsibility and strengthen its partnership and integration with the private sector on the other hand, and to continue what it began in the Year of Sustainability towards achieving the quality of life of society.
