Hissing into Scarlet! Queen Letizia shines in a Stella McCartney shoulder dress

Queen Letizia shone in a vibrant red dress as she walked the red carpet at the presidential Bellevue Palace in Berlin tonight with King Felipe.

The Queen, 50, recycled Stella McCartney’s scarlet, cape gown when she attended a banquet where she and the king were guests of honor during their three-day royal tour of Germany.

Letizia was previously pictured in the dress when she attended the birthday party of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands in The Hague in 2017.

Tonight, she paired the dress with dangling diamond earrings while sporting her brunette locks in a sophisticated updo.

She chose smokey eye to give her outfit an evening look, paired with her signature shimmery nude pink lip.

The Spanish royal family was welcomed by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Budenbender as part of the state visit to Germany.

Tonight’s state dinner is part of a three-day trip, where Letizia and Felipe will meet a number of German dignitaries and attend a number of appointments.

An official announcement on the website of German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said he and his wife Elke Büdenbender welcomed the Spanish royal family.

Queen Letizia previously wore her scarlet cape dress when she attended King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands’ birthday party in The Hague in 2017.

The three-day visit to Germany marks the first official visit of the Spanish royal family to Germany since December 2014

As part of their visit, the King and Queen will also visit the German-Spanish Forum, an art exhibition to see the collection of the Helga de Alvear Museum in the Palais Populair, and the Frankfurt Book Fair as engagements that the royal family would separately to undertake

During their visit to Berlin, King Felipe and Queen Letizia will meet many German dignitaries and attend a number of engagements

It added: “The Federal President and Elke Büdenbender will welcome King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain with military honors to Schloss Bellevue on the morning of October 17.

‘Then they start talking together. In the evening, the Federal President and Elke Büdenbender organize a state banquet in honor of the Spanish King and Queen.’

This is the first official trip of the royal family to Germany since December 2014.

They were welcomed to Bellevue Palace this morning, where the mother of two Letizia donned a chic dress in a blue midi dress with a subtle trumpet skirt, small three-quarter sleeves with puff sleeves, floral decals on the showers and a small keyhole neckline.

As part of their visit, the King and Queen will also visit the German-Spanish Forum, an art exhibition to see the collection of the Helga de Alvear Museum in the Palais Populair, and the Frankfurt Book Fair as engagements that the royal family would separately to undertake.

The Spanish royal family will also give a number of joint performances, including at a reception they organize.

Yesterday, the royal couple were photographed at an airport in Madrid as they headed to Germany for the trip.
