Rostov Governor Golubev told why the air defense system worked

The Governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev explained why the air defense system worked in the region the day before.

In his telegram channel, Golubev clarified that the air defense system worked on January 3 at about 10 p.m., 7 kilometers from the village of Sultan Sala in the Myasnikovsky district.

“At an altitude of 2.5 km, a small object in the form of a ball was found, which flew freely in the wind. A decision was made to liquidate it,” he said.

Golubev also “urgently asked” everyone to remain calm. According to him, all forces and means are used to ensure security, air defense systems cover the sky.
