Debbie McGee breaks silence on flooding at £3m home she shared with late husband Paul Daniels
The couple started performing together as Debbie helped the magician on stage and their relationship grew.
In 1988, the magic couple got married, with 29-year-old Debbie and 50-year-old Paul.
Speaking after her death, Paul said the couple enjoyed the wedding that “everyone dreams of”.
She told the BBC: “Our life has been full of laughter and it has been for the past few weeks – until the last 48 hours when he fell asleep.”
The former ballet dancer, who was once the artistic director of her own ballet company, made it to the final of BBC dance show Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, just a year after Paul’s death .
