Dr. Mahmoud Al-Sabrot, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Giza, received a delegation from the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, headed by Abdullah Abdel-Ali Al-Humaidan, during their inspection visit to the Rehabilitation and Communication Center for People with Abilities and Determinations at the Al-Saf Youth Center affiliated with the Al-Saff Youth Administration in Giza Governorate. In the presence of Dr. Muhammad Al-Sayyid Abdel Sattar and Dr. Hoda Abu Deif, member of the “Able to Differ” office. affiliated with the Central Administration for Minister Affairs.
The tour undertaken by the Emirati delegation to check on the progress of work included the communication center and its annexes. The head of the Emirati delegation to the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, Mr. Abdullah Al-Humaidan, praised the warm reception, the level of services provided to people of determination and their families, and the increasing demand by parents. He also pointed out that the tours that the delegation made in the various governorates of Egypt were done The needs of people of determination, with the aim of developing the programs and services provided to better meet their needs. Indicating that the number of centers will reach 98 by the end of this month, and these centers are located in various governorates of the Republic.
The inspection tour of the communication and skills development centers affiliated with the Bridges of Hope initiative comes within the cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination to provide integrated services to support and empower people of determination with various special abilities within the participation of the UAE, represented by the Zayed Charitable Foundation, to enhance social protection for the most needy groups of people of determination within the axes of human development.
And it was done Equipping these centers with the latest tools, devices, trainers, and specialists, to provide many services to people of determination, including communication sessions, behavior modification, skills development, learning difficulties, and sensory integration, in addition to psychological assessment, counseling, and awareness sessions for parents of people of determination about the skills needed to deal with challenges. Which they face with their children and provide them with basic skills to manage their children’s difficult behaviors, with the aim of creating a sustainable environment for them. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Sabrot stressed the Egyptian state’s interest in integrating people with abilities and determination into various activities and projects, in light of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to support them, meet their desires, and integrate them into society, expressing his thanks to Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and the full care he gives him. For them and opening youth centers at the republic level to implement projects for people of determination and to practice various activities and integrate them and participate in them, as Giza Governorate includes 4 communication centers in the youth centers of Al Salam, Al Saff, Al Ayat, Sheikh Zayed and Jari.
