Magnitude 4 earthquake hits Tajikistan

Press Secretary of the Committee for Emergency Situations of Tajikistan, Umeda Yusufi, said that a 4-magnitude earthquake was registered in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of the country.

According to him, the tremor was recorded today, Saturday, March 4, and the epicenter was 370 km southeast of Dushanbe and 97 km east of Sarez Lake. At the same time, the intensity of the tremor in Mirbagh was 3, and in the administrative center of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region – Khorog – 2.

No injuries or destruction were recorded.
