Arab Defense Website November 11, 2024: As early as 2016, senior officials at Russian aircraft manufacturer Mikoyan Gurvich hinted that the MiG-31 “Foxhound” long-range interceptor would be phased out in 2028 and replaced by a next-generation high-speed interceptor. Next, the MiG-41.

The MiG-41 High-Speed ​​Interceptor or the program’s technical name – PAK DP – is a sixth-generation interceptor capable of near-space flight at maximum speeds between Mach 4 and Mach 5.
