Journalist Heba Jalal: The state has made a great effort to advance the human rights file over the past years
The media personality, Heba Jalal, stressed the importance of talking about the cultural and intellectual aspect of the human rights file in Egypt, noting the importance of educating citizens about their rights and duties.
Jalal added, during her speech at the joint session of the Supreme Council To organize the media, and the National Council for Human Rights, on the human rights file, with the participation of members of the National Council and a number of heads of the boards of directors and editors of newspapers, channels, and news websites, “We must not neglect talking about cultural awareness in the file.”
She pointed out. Journalist Heba Jalal pointed out that the concept of the human rights file in Egypt and the Arab countries is different from its concept in Western society and the European countries that issue these politicized reports about human rights in Egypt.
She emphasized that the Egyptian state made a great effort to grant Citizens have their basic rights through initiatives and others. The Western society’s fabrication about the human rights situation in Egypt requires the presence of articles explaining the situation of the file in Egypt.
It is worth noting that the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, headed by journalist writer Karam Jabr, held a joint session with the Council. The National Council for Human Rights, headed by Dr. Moushira Khattab, on the human rights file, with the participation of members of the National Council and a number of heads of the boards of directors and editors of newspapers, channels and news websites.
The session came out with a number of recommendations that would reflect the progress that has occurred in Human rights file in Egypt, in various media.
