The Head of Childhood and Motherhood visits Al Salam Center for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Children in Al Salam City

Dr. Sahar El-Sunbati, President of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, accompanied by Dr. Nour Osama, a member of the Council, visited the Al-Salam Center for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Children in Al-Salam City in Cairo Governorate, with the aim of the center’s children participating in the Children’s Day celebrations and to put a smile on the children’s faces.

< p>Al-Sunbati explained that this center is the result of cooperation between the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood and the FACE Foundation, which It aims to implement several projects with the aim of protecting children, including a residence hall and activities to develop children’s skills, providing educational, medical and legal services to children and families, and implementing some micro-projects for poor families, which will reflect on protecting children, promoting their health and qualifying them for a future societal role.

“Al-Sunbati” indicated: To inspect the new activities that the center has developed, where they inspected the artistic activities in which children are trained, the sports activities that they practice inside the center, and some community and economic activities such as waste recycling activities. A theatrical performance performed by the children of the center entitled (The Mirror) was watched, where the play dealt with The issue of street children, and the importance of instilling good qualities in children, such as honesty and honesty.

Al-Sunbati praised the center’s role in protecting children and working to achieve a positive, sound upbringing for them and their rehabilitation. To play their role in society, Dr. Sahar Al-Sunbati and the Council team were keen to provide some in-kind gifts to the children in the center. A smile on the faces of the children, hoping that these visits will be repeated with the aim of bringing happiness to the children at the center and in a way that contributes to the center achieving its goals.

The council team was received by Face Philafia Shaw Jackson Foundation, and Dr. Youssef Al-Baili, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Nabila Al-Gabalawi, Technical Director of the Foundation, and Nadia Al-Mohammadi, Director of the Homeless Children’s Program, and a delegation from the Rotary Club of Kairost also participated in the visit.
