The first call of Luis de la Fuente as Spain coach presents fourteen new features regarding the internationals who played in the World Cup in Qatar, with the first call of David García and the returns of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Pedro Porro, Nacho Fernández, Íñigo Martínez, José Luis Gayá, Martín Zubimendi, Dani Ceballos, Mikel Merino, Fabián Ruiz, Bryan Gil, Mikel Oyarzabal, Iago Aspas, Joselu and Gerard Moreno.
De la Fuente announced in the media of the Royal Spanish Football Federation a first list with “players who have had a great career in the different categories of the team.” It does without fifteen of the 26 internationals who played in the 2022 World Cup last November.
De la Fuente’s squad list to face Norway and Scotland in the first two qualifying matches for Euro 2024 is made up of:
