Tough draw for Sevilla, which will face Manchester United in the Europa League

Manchester United will be Sevilla’s rival in the quarterfinals of the Europa League, with the first leg at Old Trafford and the return at Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán from the Andalusian capital, after the draw held this Friday in Nyon (Switzerland).

The ‘red devils’ have already eliminated two Spanish teams in previous rounds of the tournament, the Barcelona in the round of 32 playoff and the Betis in the round of 16, so they will travel to Seville again for the second consecutive tie.

The other quarterfinal duels will face Juventus and Sporting of Portugal (duel from which Sevilla’s hypothetical rival will come out in the semifinals), Bayer Leverkusen by Xabi Alonso and Saint Gilloise Belgian, and finally to feyenoord against Rome of Mourinho.

The quarter finals will be held on April 13 and 20 and the semifinals on May 11 and 18. The final will be in Puskas Arena from Budapest 31 May.

Conference League

With a surprising majority of Belgian football, represented by the ghent and the anderlechtexecutioner of Villarreal, the Fiorentina Italian and the Westham English burst into Friday’s draw as the most striking teams among the survivors in the Conference League.

On Friday the final leg of the tournament will be configured. Belgian Ghent and Anderlecht, Italian Fiorentina, English West Ham, Lech Poznań polish, the basel swiss, the AZ Alkmaar dutch and the Nice French are the eight contenders for the continental title who will know their fate in the draw in Nyon, starting at 2:00 p.m. CET.

The draw will decide the quarterfinals and the semifinals. Also the team that will be the local team in the final that will be played in the eden arena from Prague on June 7.
