For the first time in his history, the Kuwaiti is a champion of the Gulf Handball Clubs (Cup Champions).

Kuwait Club of Kuwait won the Gulf Championship for Cup Winners’ Clubs Handball Championship for the first time in its history by defeating its Bahraini counterpart, Al-Najma, with a score (29-27) in the final match of the 39th championship, which concluded today, Friday, in the Bahraini capital, Manama. The match came – in which the tie dominated its course until the last moments – but the Kuwaiti players decided.
