March Madness: Purdue’s whiteboard is DESTROYED after team loses to No. 16 Fairleigh Dickinson
Purdue’s whiteboard is DESTROYED with hole punched through it after the top seeded team loses to No. 16 Fairleigh Dickinson in a huge March Madness shock
Purdue took out their anger on an innocent bystander Friday night.
After the team’s shocking 63-58 loss to No. 16 seed Fairleigh Dickinson, someone apparently destroyed the whiteboard that was in the team’s locker room.
A photo shared to Twitter by WISH-TV’s Angela Moryan showed the item with a massive hole on it, and fans were quick to make jokes in response to the picture.
‘I’m surprised they were able to actually hit it,’ one said.
‘That’s where the ball went after they shanked another 3,’ another one said.
The Knights led by one at halftime and managed to hold onto their lead, as a late five-and-a-half minute scoring drought condemned the Boilermakers to a first-round exit.

Sean Moore led the way in scoring for Fairleigh Dickinson with 19 points, while Demetre Roberts (12 points) and Cameron Tatum (10 points) also scored in double figures.
‘People didn’t think we belonged here, we’re just showing people that we can do it,’ Moore said after the game.
The Knights will face the winner of the Memphis-FAU matchup on Sunday, while Purdue, led by All-America center Zach Edey, have seen their championship aspirations quashed.
Edey finished with 21 points and 15 rebounds, but was denied the ball down the stretch and didn’t attempt a shot in the final nine minutes of the game.
Only two other Boilermakers scored in double figures as they were eliminated.
