A future NASA plane that consumes up to 10% less fuel than a regular plane

The TTBW produces less drag due to its longer and thinner wings supported by struts in flight, and can consume up to 10% less jet fuel than a regular airliner. And the Advanced Supercomputing Division of NASA Ames Research Center in California created the Transformational Tools and Technologies project to develop computational tools for TTBW research, according to the website.
