The Egyptian President meets with the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Dr. Mohamed Moait, Minister of Finance. Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that President El-Sisi directed the government to increase the income tax exemption limit to 36,000 pounds annually instead of 24,000 pounds, in the context of the state’s efforts to mitigate the effects of the tax.
