President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Mrs. Intisar El-Sisi, wife of the President of the Republic, witnessed this evening the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, with the participation of nearly eighty delegations representing various countries of the world, in addition to a wide presence of representatives of a number of regional and international organizations, and major international companies.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the President was keen to receive the heads of delegations from Their Majesties, Excellencies and Highnesses. And the happiness of the participants in the celebration, which began with an artistic show titled “The World Plays One Melody,” followed by a show called “Lasers and Drones,” which explained the theory of “Orion’s Belt,” and the relationship of the building of the Grand Egyptian Museum to the pyramids. This was followed by an artistic show titled “A Journey of Peace in the Land of Peace,” which included an artistic scene about the creativity of Egyptians in construction, starting with the construction of the Pyramid of Djoser until construction in the modern era. And today; As we celebrate together, the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum… we are writing a new chapter, in the history of the present and the future, in the story of this ancient country… This is the largest museum in the world, dedicated to one civilization… the civilization of Egypt, whose splendor does not fade.
This great edifice is not just a place for storing precious antiquities… rather, it is a living testimony to the genius of the Egyptian man… who built the pyramids and engraved on the walls. Biography of immortality… a testimony; The story of a nation is told to generations. Its roots go deep into human history. Its branches still shade its present. May its giving continue in the service of humanity.

This achievement, which we are all honored to inaugurate today.. came as a result of broad international cooperation.. with a number of international companies and institutions.
