Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities inspects the project to develop services in the Pyramids Antiquities area

 Engineer Hisham Samir, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Antiquities and Museums Projects and General Supervisor of the Projects Sector at the Supreme Council of Antiquities, inspected the service area of ​​the Giza Pyramids, in order to find out the latest developments in the development and operation of the entrance to the archaeological area on the Cairo-Fayoum Road, which is scheduled to begin operation. Its trial period will be in the second quarter of 2024.

 

Samir confirmed that the work is taking place in full swing and in full coordination between the concerned authorities according to the studies prepared in advance, ensuring the completion of the work on the entrance. New and optimal visiting itineraries; This will improve the tourist experience in the region.

It is noteworthy that the project to develop services in the Giza Pyramids area includes a tourist service center, hotel restrooms, smart gates with electronic tickets, a movie hall, a medical center, golf carts and buses. Electric transportation to ensure ease of movement for Egyptian visitors and tourists, in addition to the presence of a VIP center, which is a place designated for visitors who want a unique experience. 

The development project also includes a number of services for visitors, including an information office, Wi-Fi Internet service, smart device charging machines, an electronic mobile application, a group of shaded benches for sitting, and outlets for selling gifts, drinks, and fast food, in the places identified and approved by the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and other agreed-upon tourist services that will be provided, such as Designated areas for children, designated photography sites, as well as automated teller machines.
