Former MLB catcher-turned Blue Jays analyst Caleb Joseph issued an X-Rated verdict on Toronto’s World Series heartbreak and insisted the Dodgers did not deserve to win another championship.
Shohei Ohtani and Co secured back-to-back World Series wins after an epic seven-game showdown with the Blue Jays.
The Dodgers eventually triumphed after 11 innings of Game 7, thanks to Will Smith’s homerun at the Rogers Centre.
The Blue Jays, who have not won a World Series since 1993, led the series 3-2 heading into Game 6 and in Saturday night’s decider they were ahead until the ninth inning.
The Dodgers did not lead Game 7 until the 11th inning and after the heartbreaking loss, former Orioles, Diamondbacks and Blue Jays catcher Joseph swore live on air.
‘There are a lot of wet eyes and I don’t blame them for that,’ Joseph said on the Sportsnet broadcast.

‘It’s going to sound like sour grapes and I don’t really give a s*** but I think the better team did not win this series… you just feel like the baseball Gods got it wrong this time.’
He added: ‘I think the Blue Jays are the better team and I feel like they played baseball a certain way that was infectious, that grabbed the attention of the fans.
‘And it’s disheartening to see that the better team did not win. That’s not to take anything away from the Dodgers but the Blue Jays did so many things right.’
At the bottom of the ninth, with the teams tied at 4-4 and the bases loaded, the Blue Jays needed just one run to topple the defending champions.
But their 32-year wait for a championship went on after Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages made a dramatic, game-saving catch that saw him take out teammate Kike Hernandez in the process.
That sent Game 7 to extra innings, with Mookie Betts’ double play sealing back-to-back championships for LA.
