Did The Big Brother Livestream Just Spoil Which Housemate Gets Evicted In Tonight’s Ep?

It’s the final week of Big Brother Australia, which means there will have to be a bunch of shock evictions before a winner is announced on Monday, December 8.

Following Abiola Oreyomi‘s self-eviction and Holly Young’s exit in Sunday night’s ep, the remaining eight housemates nominated for the fourth time on Monday.

Vinnie Brigante, Coco Beeby and Allana Jackson received the highest amount of points (16, 10 and seven, respectively), but Head Housemate Colin Ridley used his power to save Allana. In doing so, he put Emily Dale up for eviction with just five points.

While evictions typically take place on Sunday night, host Mel Tracina announced at the end of the episode that audience voting would close just hours after opening and someone would be evicted overnight.

“You need to get your votes in right now because voting will close tonight,” she said. “Not Sunday, tonight, because in the dark of the night, Big Brother will blindside the housemates with a surprise eviction.”

Which Big Brother housemate was eliminated overnight?

Well, Big Brother is no liar. The evicted housemate will be revealed in Tuesday night’s episode, but viewers tuning into the livestream in the wee hours of the morning could see that Vinnie had suddenly disappeared from the house.

The 21-year-old barber wasn’t in his bed as the other housemates slept, and Coco and Emily were both been seen going about their day in the morning.

Some viewers also claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that the Big Brother livestream had been muting any discussions about Vinnie.

While Channel 10 has yet to officially announce which housemate got the boot, a spokesperson for the network confirmed to PEDESTRIAN.TV that there are now just seven contestants remaining.

“After an overnight snap eviction, it looks like Bad Santa has come down the Big Brother chimney. Tune into 10 at 7.30pm tonight to catch the Christmas chaos,” they said.

Vinnie’s exit isn’t all that surprising given the backlash he received for his comments about Holly following her eviction.

Plus, it would’ve been difficult for him to regain public favour after he was accused of being “fake” and “performative” by the past few eliminated housemates.

The real question now though is how Edward Doak will survive without Vinnie giving him regular haircuts.

Big Brother Australia is on Monday to Friday at 7.30pm and Sundays at 7pm. Watch and live stream 24/7 on 10 or on TikTok @bigbrotherau.
