Israel Palestine LIVE: Gaza hospital ‘turned into death zone’ amid ceasefire hopes rise

Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City has been branded a “death zone” by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The WHO recently led a joint UN team that spent an hour examining the hospital following its occupation and evacuation by the Israeli military.
During the inspection, the team observed signs of shelling and gunfire and noted the presence of a mass grave at the hospital’s entrance, reportedly containing the bodies of 80 Palestinians.
Some 300 critically ill patients are reported to still occupy al-Shifa, which was once the largest and most advanced hospital in Gaza.
