Israeli Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque with Israeli Police Protection

Dozens of Israeli settlers forcibly entered the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Monday, protected by a heavy presence of Israeli occupation police.

Eyewitnesses reported that the settlers entered the mosque through the Moroccan Gate, conducted provocative tours within its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals near the Mercy Gate.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces intensified their military measures in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque. They detained students at the mosque gates, conducted searches, and obstructed their access to schools inside the compound.

Al-Aqsa faces daily incursions by settlers, except on Fridays and Saturdays, as part of ongoing attempts to alter its current status. This follows a similar pattern seen at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron since the massacre committed by the Jewish extremist Baruch Goldstein in 1994.
