(Kuwait Chamber of Commerce) discusses with the French Ambassador the arrangements for the meeting of the Joint Friendship Committee
The Chairman of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Al-Saqr, discussed with the Ambassador of the French Republic to the country, Claire Le Fleisher, the arrangements for the first meeting of the Kuwaiti-French Friendship Committee in the French capital (Paris) on September 28.
The head of the Chamber and the head of the Kuwaiti side in the committee, Muhammad Al-Saqr, said in a press statement on Tuesday that this visit comes in light of the arrangements made by the Friendship Committee in cooperation with the French Embassy in order to find the best solutions to the challenges in order to achieve economic development between the two countries.
Al-Saqr praised the great role played by the French Embassy in making the necessary arrangements to reach positive results that serve both sides, and looked forward to meeting with members of the French side of the committee to discuss economic, cultural and social opportunities between the two friendly countries.
For her part, Le Fleischer expressed her thanks for the quick response in forming the committee members and responding to the call to hold the first meeting in the French capital, with the second meeting to be held in the State of Kuwait during the next year.
It is noteworthy that this committee was established with the aim of developing and strengthening joint relations and building new bridges of cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the friendly French Republic, as it is a strategic ally of the State of Kuwait due to the international leadership it represents in the fields of politics, economics, culture and technology, as the committee includes in its membership prominent Kuwaiti figures from various levels.
