Married At First Sight (MAFS) fan favourite Rhi Disljenkovic has shared an update with her followers after she and her partner Jeff Gobbels announced their split last week.
The fitness influencer, who found love with Jeff on last year’s season of the reality show, shared an Instagram carousel on Monday evening about “finding [her] way back”.
“Life’s looked a little different lately. Some days have felt heavy; some days have felt really good. Most days have been a mix of both,” she wrote. “There’s been a lot of change, a lot to process, and a lot of moments where I’ve had to learn to sit with things I can’t control.”
Although Rhi and Jeff have yet to share the reason behind their split, she gave fans an insight into her decision by writing: “Sometimes choosing yourself means breaking your own heart a little in the process.”
She continued: “For now, I’m just taking things one day at a time, giving myself grace, and focusing on the people, routines, and little moments that make me feel like me again.”
She also thanked everyone who reached out to her, checked in or shared their own story, adding: “The support I’ve felt this past week has carried me through some really difficult moments, and I’ll never forget that.”

MAFS’ Rhi and Jeff announce their split with separate statements
Rhi and Jeff were the only couple from MAFS’ twelfth season who stayed together after the show, and they moved in together in Melbourne shortly after filming wrapped.
However, rumours had been swirling in recent weeks about the pair’s relationship status after fans noticed they were no longer following each other on Instagram. The pair also wiped the majority of their photos together from their accounts and removed each other’s tag, which is often an indication that they’ve blocked each other.
The couple ended up addressing the rumours last Tuesday and shared separate statements on their Instagram Stories confirming their split.
“With a heavy heart, I want to share that Jeff and I have decided to part ways. This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make,” Rhi told her followers.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the love we shared and all of the memories we created. Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout our relationship and followed along on our journey. Your kindness means more than you know, and I appreciate your respect and understanding as we move.”

Rhi went on to say that she’s “incredibly grateful” for the love they shared and “all of the memories” they created, adding: “Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout our relationship and followed along on our journey. Your kindness means more than you know, and I appreciate your respect and understanding as we move forward.”
Meanwhile, Jeff shared a much shorter statement without actually naming his ex — which instantly gave off messy vibes.
“After a lot of thought, unfortunately, my relationship has ended. This has been an incredibly difficult time, and I’m trying to navigate this as best as I can,” he wrote.
“I’m grateful for the memories and genuine love we shared over the years. Thank you for supporting our relationship, being part of our journey and respecting my privacy during this time.”
Rhi and Jeff’s split leaves just five couples still together across the show’s 13 seasons, including this year’s power couple, Stella Mickunaite and Filip Gregov. We’re rooting for you!
