Man and woman found dead in suspected murder-suicide at stunning $3.2m LA home

A man and a woman were found dead inside a stunning Los Angeles home in what police are investigating as a possible murder-suicide. 

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) was called to the $3.2 million home on Holmby Ave in Westwood in the early hours of Friday morning. 

Both of the victims, who were reportedly around 45 years old, were found suffering from shotgun wounds.

Images taken by KTLA show a large-scale police presence outside the home, with several cruisers parked around the address.

The identities of the man and the woman have not yet been released by authorities. 

The property has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a sizable backyard swimming pool. 

It sits just a thousand feet away from the entrance to the ritzy Los Angeles Country Club and is close to both Santa Monica Boulevard and Wilshire Boulevard. 

In a statement, the LAPD said: ‘Today at 5:45 a.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Holmby Avenue and found the female victim and male suspect both suffering from shotgun wounds. 

‘LAFD responded and pronounced both victim and suspect deceased at scene. This incident is being investigated as a murder suicide.’
