Nigel Farage has already been covered in gunge for his first I’m A Celebrity bushtucker trial.
The ex-UKIP leader, 59, was seen sporting a pair of goggles while being submerged in filthy barrels of mud and muck.
Farage joins YouTuber Nella Rose and This Morning presenter Josie Gibson in the first of many gruesome challenges.
The politician was given immunity from the skydiving challenge due to past injuries – leading to fears he would be exempt from many of the show’s gruelling challenges.
Revealing his limitations in the jungle beforehand, Mr Farage told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Well, anything involving weight lifting, I’d be out because I’ve obviously had some quite serious physical injuries and neck reconstructions and goodness knows what else.’
Instead of jumping out of the plane like campmates have in previous years, Farage was sent to take part in a desert challenge with Josie and Nella.
Mr Farage underwent a major spinal operation following the accident 13 years ago when his light aircraft, towing a Vote Ukip banner that accidentally wrapped around the tail and rudder during the flight, nosedived to the ground, injuring him and the pilot.
He previously said he closed his eyes, not expecting to see anything ever again before he felt a series of hard blows to his body as the aircraft took the full impact and the engine fell apart.
