The Block Cast Are Finally Scoring An Invite To The Logies After Being Snubbed Twice
Australia’s most chaotic renovation squad is about to make their return to the night of nights, swapping steel cap boots for sequins again because the powers that be have quietly decided to bring The Block cast back to The Logies red carpet in 2026 — after leaving them off the guest list for the last two years.

Yes, they’ve been benched. Twice. Yes, apparently even winning a reality TV juggernaut doesn’t guarantee you a seat at the TV industry’s sparkliest dinner party. And yes, the cast have felt it.
“It was awkward,” a network insider told PEDESTRIAN.TV. “The show always has huge ratings but the 2023 and 2024 Blockheads just didn’t get the call.” Why? The reasons are unknown.
The network had said that they didn’t have enough tickets for all their shows talent and this is the reason for the absence of Married At First Sight and The Block stars to attend but it would now seem that this cast playing nice with their contracts and their choice to not go rogue on their NDAs could be the reason for their return.
The last two years the Blockheads were cancelling their designer gowns while everyone else was clinking champagne at The Star like it was the Met Gala of Aussie telly.
“It didn’t seem fair as the cast are the ones who put everything on the line for all the public to judge and that invitation always felt like the least they could do,” one anonymous star of The Block told us.
But it seems things have changed, probably influenced by the fact this year’s The Block season was the highest rated season with fewer spoilers being split by their 2025 line up.
Ratings were up, drama was feral, the internet cared again and suddenly: boom, the red carpet invite list reopened.
“The Block earned its place back this year,” the source says. “The interest was huge again, viewers, press, memes, everything.”
We don’t yet know which The Block contestants will score the glam seats but safe money says we’ll see some familiar faces from Daylesford rolling up to Pyrmont in borrowed couture, clutching a spray tan voucher and manifesting a segment with Karl Stefanovic.
And to be honest? We’re ready for it. Bring on the tradie tans. Bring on the scar tissue from group chat implosions. Bring on the couples who still aren’t speaking. Bring on the “babe don’t start, I’m not in the mood for this at the Logies” energy. We’ll see you on the carpet, The Block fam.
Just don’t start measuring room square meterage while the cameras are rolling, unless it’s for content. Actually… scratch that. Definitely do.
