The first research forum of the Department of Radio and Television at Cairo University will start tomorrow, Tuesday, at ten in the morning, under the title: “From broadband broadcasting to limited broadcasting and webcasting… the challenges of the digital age and its repercussions.”
The opening session begins with the national anthem, the official film of the research forum, and the opening speech by Dr. Ashraf Galal, Head of the Radio Department, Secretary-General of the Forum, and Dr. Thuraya Al-Badawi, Chairman of the Forum and Dean of the Faculty of Information, Cairo University, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Saeed, Vice President of Cairo University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Ahmed Darwish, former Minister of Administrative Development.
A group of media figures, journalists, and university professors participate in the forum, including Dr. Mahmoud Muslim, member. The Senate and the Chairman of the Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Media Committee in the Senate, Dr. Amr Al-Laithi, President of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Countries Radio and Television Union, guest of honor of the forum, journalist Ayman Abdel Majeed, editor-in-chief of the Rosa Al-Youssef Portal, member of the Journalists Syndicate Council, and Dr. Naayem Saad Zaghloul, head of the Media Center of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Jamal Al-Shaer, Chairman of the Culture and Media Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, Dr. Mona Al-Hadidi, a member of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, and the journalist writers Ashraf Mufid and Hossam Al-Damrani, members of the Culture and Media Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture.
Also. A number of media professors at universities, members of the Media Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, and an elite group of practitioners and specialists in the fields of artificial intelligence and radio broadcasting are participating.
The forum will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday, when it will conclude. The conference works and recommendations are issued.
