The Mufti of the Republic and the Pakistani Minister of Education discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation

The Mufti of the Republic, Dr. Nazir Ayyad, discussed with Dr. Khaled Maqbool Siddiq, Minister of Education and Vocational Training in Pakistan, ways to enhance joint cooperation with regard to the correct understanding of women’s issues, scientific publications, training in fatwas and fatwa sciences, and benefiting from the experience of the Egyptian Fatwa House in Correcting misconceptions and confronting extremist ideas.

This came at the beginning of the visit of the Mufti of the Republic, Head of the General Secretariat of Fatwa Houses and Bodies in the World, to the Pakistani capital, Islam. Abad today, Friday, to participate in the work of the global conference entitled “Girls’ Education in Muslim Societies: Challenges and Opportunities,” which was held today and continues until January 14.

His Eminence the Mufti and the Pakistani Minister discussed how to benefit from what the Egyptian state offers. Through Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in opening institutes, sending missions, and establishing centers for teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers.

The Mufti thanked the Pakistani minister for the warm reception, stressing the need to strengthen fruitful cooperation in a way that serves scientific issues. And practical aspects.

The two sides agreed that coordination of joint cooperation would be in the form of a protocol signed between the two parties through the Egyptian embassy in Islamabad.
