How does she do it? What is she using? How much does it cost?!

Nothing makes us nosier than the beauty and wellness regimes of the rich and famous. And when looking fabulous is their job – as in the case of model and beauty entrepreneur Miranda Kerr, 42 – the tips, tricks and must-haves are all the more compelling.

Founder of beauty brand Kora Organics, Kerr lives in Los Angeles, and is mum to four children – Flynn, 14, with ex-husband, actor Orlando Bloom, and Hart, seven, Myles, six and Pierre, one, with husband, Evan Spiegel, CEO of the company behind the app Snapchat.

Here are the routines, products and habits she swears by to look and feel at the top of her game…

Watch the sun rise

I wake up at 5am every morning and actually I quite enjoy that now. I used to be a night owl, but my husband, who has always been an early bird, has been a good influence on me.

One of the things I make a point of doing is watching the sun rise through an open window. I’ve heard from a lot of people in the health industry that 20 minutes prior to the sunrise is when the healing [infrared] rays are most powerful. [Infrared light is reputed to promote healing, pain relief and energy.] So I’ve been doing that recently, and I find it’s helping me feel energised.

Meditate daily

I’ve meditated since I was 18. Every day is different, some days you go deeper – into a bliss state – and some days you don’t go as deep, and that’s OK. My teacher explained to me that it’s like swimming – it doesn’t matter if you’re in the shallow end of the pool or the deep end of the pool, you’re still getting wet. I think it’s a really good way of releasing stress – it’s like a pressure valve – and if you’re not clearing that kind of energy I feel like it definitely shows on your face and in your eyes.

Use crystal-filtered skincare

I think your skincare routine should feel like a little at-home spa moment. It’s one of the reasons every single one of my products is filtered through rose quartz crystals in the manufacturing process, so they have a beautiful, loving energy.

If I had to pick a favourite item from the range, I’d probably say the Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Scrub + Mask (£20, uk.koraorganics.com). It’s like a facial. The results are instant: your skin is radiant and glowing. I’m obsessed.

Amp up your wellness with gadgets

I have a Weber Medical LightMat (from around £500, wmedicalsystems.com) which uses red and infrared LEDs to calm inflammation, and I have the helmet (around £3,000) from the same company – it shines light through the skull to help with cognitive function.

I also use a device called the Truvaga (around £200, truvaga.com) which is a vagus nerve stimulator that helps calm you down. We live in a fast-paced world and these help re-balance me.

Oh, and I have a power plate in my bathroom that shakes your whole body. I think it’s supposed to be good for circulation and blood flow, so I stand on that while I’m doing my skincare and make-up.

Eat according to blood tests

I’m gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-free because I had my blood tested and they were causing inflammation. Instead I eat gut-friendly foods, such as sauerkraut, coconut yoghurt kefir and goat’s milk kefir. And I’m a big fan of juices – I have celery juice, noni [a bitter, mango-sized fruit from the coffee family] juice and aloe juice daily.

Make your make-up multi-task

I like the Kosas LipFuel Lip Balm (£19, kosas.com) in the shade Pulse, and I’ll sometimes use that as blush as well. For years, I’ve used the RMS UnCoverup Concealer (£39, rmsbeauty.com) and I’ll put a drop of my Kora Organics Noni Glow Face Oil (£29, uk.koraorganics.com) in the pot then use a make-up brush to put it all over my face. It gives you a light amount of coverage, so it looks like you just have healthy, glowing skin.

Choose the exercise that works for you

I have a bike called the Carol bike (£2,595, carolbike.com) where you can do a super-quick ten-minute ride – it’s like HIIT and it’s the quickest way to get fit. I’m all about efficiency so I really enjoy doing that. I went through a stage of doing weights and I did quite like it, and I want to get back into Pilates, but right now I’m meditation and yoga-focused.

My meditation teacher taught me something called rounding [a specific sequence of yoga poses, breathwork and meditation] and I’ve been very much into that rather than pushing myself. I feel it’s exactly what my body needs right now.

Turmeric Glow Drops (£72 for 30ml, uk.koraorganics.com), the latest launch from Kora Organics, is available now.
