Trump scorns EU peace efforts; Haifa missile wounds multiple; Iran refuses to discuss nuclear program future
Iran’s foreign minister issued a stark warning on Saturday, saying that US military involvement in the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel would be “very, very dangerous for everyone.”
The comments, made during a press briefing in Istanbul, underscore growing fears that the regional war could spiral into a broader confrontation involving global powers.
“We strongly advise the United States to stay out of this,” said Seyyed Abbas Araghchihe.
“Any intervention will only expand the scale of destruction and pull the entire region into a prolonged crisis.”
The warning comes as tensions continue to rise on the ninth day of fighting, with missile exchanges and airstrikes intensifying between the two countries.
The US has already positioned B-2 stealth bombers in the region and has not ruled out direct involvement.
US officials have not publicly responded to the comments, but Washington has been in contact with regional allies and continues to urge all parties to de-escalate. Meanwhile, diplomatic talks in Geneva have stalled, with Iran refusing further engagement until Israeli strikes stop.
