The Czech Republic sent a train of heavy armored vehicles, including T-72 tanks and BMP-1 armored personnel carriers, to support the Ukrainian army. The Czech Public Broadcasting Corporation stated that the shipment was made within the framework of NATO assistance to the Ukrainian armed forces.
Earlier, during a press conference in Brussels, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO countries can rearm and re-equip the Ukrainian armed forces. He added that NATO allies are committed to providing more assistance to Ukraine, including the supply of anti-tank weapons, air defense systems and other equipment.
