Jake Paul vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr live: Start time, undercard, fight updates and results

Jake Paul and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr are in the house. There’s just two fights to go until the main event of tonight’s card with the ring walks due around 4am BST.

Paul looks pretty relaxed.

Julian Rodriguez was within a few seconds of taking the fight to points.

He said: “I know along with my support I can accomplish anything.

“I thought I was up but I knew I had to go for it in the last few stages.

“Everything I’ve been through. It was a reminder of all the pain and sacrifice but I’m ready to move forward and hit the gym in the next few weeks.”

Avious Griffin needs to win this round, preferably with another knockdown.

He’s cautious through the first minute but Rodriguez tries to get inside the pair grapple. Griffin throws a couple of shots and pushes Rodriguez onto the ropes.

A counter punching combo from Rodriguez lands on Griffin as time ticks away.

Griffin throws a big right but gets spangled!

Julian Rodriguez lands on the chin and Griffin wobbles, Rodriguez throws a combo, Griffin rocks, falls onto the ropes and lands on the canvas!

He tries to get up but can’t and the referee calls it. Julian Rodriguez wins by knockout in the 10th round!

Both fighters are a bit more tentative in this round. They may have gassed themselves out a little in round 8.

Rodriguez lands on Griffin’s chin and his opponent stumbles around.

Griffin is hurt but Rodriguez is worried about the counter punch and decides not to pursue his attack.

A couple of jabs for Griffin keeps Rodriguez at distance. There’s blood coming from his nose, Rodriguez isn’t keen to push his advantage.

10 seconds to go and Griffin launches a combo but misses more punches than he lands.

Down! Griffin’s corner tells he to go after his opponent and he lands a straight right which drops Rodriguez to the canvas.

Rodriguez isn’t massively hurt but he suffers a knockdown which could be crucial in these closing stages.

Rodriguez manages to get up and force Griffin on the back foot. Both men at throwing hands and seem to believe they need to land more to win this fight.

Rodriguez has bossed this fight so far but Griffin scored a fine left hook in the fourth round to keep him in check.

Rodriguez is told to keep behind his double jab and then let his hands go while in the corner.

It’s been a solid fight for him so far and he should be able to control it from here.
