Buffalo Bills sign Super Bowl-winning defensive end

The Buffalo Bills have signed veteran star Justin Hollins to a one-year deal.

The 29-year-old spent part of the 2024 season on the Washington Commanders practice squad but was released back in October.

He was initially selected as the 156th pick in the fifth round of the draft back in 2018 and signed a four-year, $2.8million rookie contract with the Denver Broncos.

However he was waived in 2020 and later picked up by the Los Angeles Rams.

He was part of the Rams side who won Super Bowl LVI in the 2021 season. He registered 10.5 sacks, 10 tackles for loss and 16 QB hits in 67 games that year.

Along with the Rams and the Commanders, Hollins has also had brief stints with the Green Bay Packers, New York Giants and the LA Chargers.

He last played a game in the 2023 season. In total that year, he played 12 games for the Packers, Giants and Chargers.

Prior to his time in the NFL, Hollins spent four years at Oregon, where he played 45 games.  He recorded 184 tackles, 36 tackles for loss and 14 sacks in that time.

He ranked fourth in the Pac-12 in sacks and fifth in tackles for loss. He was also named in the 2018 First-Team All-Pac 12 by the Associated Press.

As per the Bills official statement, Hollins will wear No. 52.
